SAVING AND PRESERVING THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME

Preserving this Oak Bay home was Urban Core Ventures first goal. An enormous undertaking took place to relocate this home to its new permanent location in Shirley, B.C. This home has been lifted and slowly moved by a wheel hydraulic system onto a barge. The large tug boat and barge took the 19 hour journey in the night through the Juan De Fuca straight. When it reached its new destination the 6000sqft home off loaded the barge, wheeled and moved into its new location.
